On June 16th and 17the the “European ASKÖ Seni Tournament and Festival took place in the Museum of Ethnology in Vienna. Athletes from Austria, The Netherlands and Suriname participated in a Seni Competition - afterwards many international groups showed presentations of traditional and modern Pencak Silat.
Pencak Silat ist eine jahrhundertealte Kampf- und Bewegungskunst, die ihren Ursprung im Südostasiatischen Raum hat. Die Hauptgebiete sind Indonesien, Malaysien, Brunei und Singapur.
